In Jharkhand, law enforcement has apprehended a 20-year-old man accused of murdering his underage wife by slitting her throat. An official confirmed the arrest, revealing that the suspect was disturbed by his wife's interactions with other men, prompting him to commit this heinous act.
Following the murder, Jairam Murmu allegedly concealed the body in bags and disposed of it in a drain located in the outskirts of Jamshedpur, within the jurisdiction of the MGM police station.
On Sunday, authorities discovered the woman's body, which had its legs bound. Subsequent investigations led to Murmu's arrest; he had been married to Sonia for two years. During questioning, Murmu disclosed to the police that he felt troubled by his wife's conversations with several young men.
